Dear Members of our Community of Faith,

Welcome to the final newsletter for 2017. I hope they have been a valuable way of gaining insight into all that is happening at SMMC. Thank you to everyone who came to our presentation night last night and to all the teachers and students for their efforts in contributing to the night. What another great year it has been for our school.
Tomorrow morning the SRC will be holding the final Breakfast Club for 2017. Anyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a relaxed start to the morning with $2 bacon and eggs and a cup of OJ. Thank you to the families who have generously donated eggs!
A reminder that we will have Adoration tomorrow from 11:20am – 1:00pm with Benediction at 12:45pm. Anyone is more than welcome to come and pray with us. Also to finish the year as a team, we will be gathering for a final assembly tomorrow at 2:30pm before we head off for a well-earned break. Parents are very welcome to attend.
This coming Saturday 9th December we are holding another BBQ at Bunnings to raise funds for the school. Please let Fiona know if you can spare some time to help us out.
If you are in town, please bring your students along to sing in the Jindera Carols on Friday 15th December. This is great opportunity to represent our school in the local community. Please be there by 7pm and find Mr Flores. Students may wear appropriate casual clothes for this event. Thank you in advance.
The owner of Parousia Media visited our school for a tour on Friday afternoon and brought with him some resources. I have bought a stand full of fantastic CDs which are available to purchase from the office for $5. There are range of topics which I am sure you will find very interesting.
Leaders Now will be holding a Kids’ Activity Day on Tuesday 19th December at Thurgoona parish Centre. 10am-2pm. Craft/Cooking/Games. Lunch provided. Cost $2 to cover materials. Contact Mrs Horsfall for details on 0431734206
