Dear Members of our Community of Faith,

This week students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 participated in Naplan. It was great to see all the kids giving it a go and doing their best.

Please note that on weekends there are to be no students on the school grounds.

We congratulate Mr Paul Griffin on completing his studies, he is now a fully registered teacher. Mr Griffin will be teaching the 3/4 Classroom on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, teaching History, Geography and Art. Mr Flores on these afternoons will be absent from the classroom for his Chaplaincy role for both primary and secondary students.

Earn and Learn

Our school is participating in this year’s Woolworths Earn and Learn. Between 1st May and 25th June, collect as many stickers as you can. You can stick them on the sticker sheets and hand them into the office at school, or pop them strait in the box provided at Woolworths in Lavington.

Bunnings BBQ

We have been fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to hold a Bunnings BBQ this Saturday 18th May. Thank you to all those who are giving their time up to come a long and help out on the day. The Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser has always been a great success in fundraising money for our P&F committee. These funds are then used to help purchase goods for the school.

Lost property

Can families please have a look around at home for a Woollen jumper and a sports jacket with the name Tocher written on the inside. If one of these jumpers have made it home to you by mistake please return it to the owners. Please also have a look in lost property if your child/children are missing any school items, there have been a few jumpers turn up. If you have received a notification that you have uniform items to pick up, please feel free to pop into the office and collect them. Remember to write your child’s name on their uniform, that way it is easy to find the owner.
