Into the woods flyer

Welcome back for the final term of 2019. We hope everyone had a restful two-week break. This term is only eight weeks long but we have a lot happening.

A big thank you to all the helpers who gave their time during the term break to make our school ship shape for term 4. A special mention to a few people: Paul McAlister for his work in the school hall kitchenette; Andrew and Mary Garratt for their work in the garden and schoolyard; Owen Fallon for mowing the grounds; Chris Tingle and Tanya O’Brien for their work in the garden; Eamonn Simpson, who installed the statue of St Mary MacKillop above the bus shelter; Dan Dawson, who installed a data projector in the Hall; Phil Cramer (and sons) for painting the Atrium and St Maximilian Kolbe room;  Joel Wright and Daniel Clark for putting up the wonderful new front doors on the Hall. It’s always great to see people in the school community spending time to help around the school grounds. We greatly appreciate your generosity.

Please keep our year 12 students in your thoughts and prayers as they start their final HSC exams. They all sat their first English exam yesterday and had English Paper two today. We wish them all the best for the rest of their exams.

Our year six students attended a retreat today at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Thurgoona. The retreat aims to provide the students with an opportunity to build on leadership skills and develop virtue. We thank all the staff who organised this event.
